Best Sandwich:
Recently, while working hard labor on a project in downtown B'ham, I had the distinct-if all-too- fleeting-pleasure of ordering and promptly consuming four consecutive turkey club sandwiches from Avenue Bread over the span of four days. When, at the end of the project, a friend suggested I might be exhibiting classic warning signs of an "addictive personality," I promptly thanked her for her concern and ordered two more of those suckers for the road.
